The following Code of Ethics has been approved by each MTSA member firm in its business conduct and operations. It recognizes some basic principles of integrity to which we all subscribe.

The principles fall under four categories: Governmental Relations, Customer Relations, Employee/Candidate Relations, and Relations with Other Members.

Governmental Relations
We abide by all applicable federal, state, and local laws with regard to the operation of our businesses.

Customer Relations
We shall reserve all proprietary information relating to the business of our customers, which is imparted to aid our members in contract staffing requirements, in the strictest confidence.

We shall actively avoid misrepresenting a candidate's skills or experience.

We will never pay customers' direct employees finder's fees, commissions, or compensation in any form that could conflict with the customer's rules of employee conduct.

Employee/Candidate Relations
We shall provide our candidates/employees with a clear, written understanding of their rates, benefits, and provisions prior to the beginning of assignments.

We shall actively avoid representing nonexistent jobs or openings to candidates.

This Code of Ethics shall be presented by all members to candidates prior to initiation of employment.

Relations with Other Members
We shall not use information gained as a member of the MTSA in a detrimental way against other members.

We shall not discredit other members to our candidates, employees, or customers.

We shall post this Code of Ethics in a prominent position on our business premises.
